Retargeter Triggit Is Moving Beyond Facebook

By Carl Lee

While other companies struggle to deliver relevant ads, Facebook does it with ease. This is thanks to the tireless work of their retargeting provider, Triggit. But now, Facebook won't be the only company to benefit from Triggit's expertise. The company will be opening up their dynamic native retargeting service to other sites.

Triggit hasn't named their new clients yet, but they have said a few things about the companies beta testing for them. Several of them are global companies, and several others are Fortune 500 companies. Who are the companies working with Triggit? It could be Walmart, Target, or even Apple. We won't know until they make an announcement.

Many people are disappointed that Facebook does not have mobile inventory open on their exchange. When Triggit begins work with other publishers, they'll offer access to mobile inventory through them. This should please a number of people. As mentioned above, people are paying less attention to old style ads. Triggit is certainly taking a risk here, but it's a perfect time for them to do it. A number of companies are looking to change their advertising strategy, and will jump at the chance to work with Triggit.

However, it's still unclear whether their styles of ads will be as effective without the Facebook format to back them up. Many people use Facebook constantly, and that's certainly played a large role in their success. Triggit will have to change their strategies if they want to continue to succeed. They'll also need to hold onto the things that made them successful in the first place.

Whether Triggit is successful or not, this move will have a big impact on the business world. If they are able to successfully implement their strategy elsewhere, other companies will change their strategies to match theirs. But if they fail, most companies will stick to the same old ads we've seen before. No matter what happens, change is coming.

In the past, many people have complained that mobile inventory isn't currently open on Facebook's exchange. While that won't be changing, Triggit will be offering mobile inventory access through the other publishers they'll be working with. That bit of news should make a lot of people happy. Ads that were once effective are now ignored. However, Triggit knows how to make ads that get attention. It's clear that all kinds of companies will be chomping at the bit to work with Triggit.
